About Andrea Decker, Professionally

Consulting with Element Fusion clients since 2002, Andrea Decker leads the EF consulting team as they provide custom internet solutions for businesses and organizations. Andrea’s business philosophy matches Element Fusion’s in preferring to provide a solution that empowers a client to take control of their own web presence instead of facilitating a dependency in that client upon the web developer.

Element Fusion, founded in 1999, is now Oklahoma’s largest web development firm. Element Fusion has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years and is listed in the 2006 Metro 50 (Oklahoma City metropolitan area’s fastest growing, privately-owned companies.) Element Fusion focuses on delivering quality website design, development and promotion as well as Web 2.0 products such as WaterSM, SkySM and LightSM (website content management solutions.) Listed among Element Fusion’s clients are Chesapeake, Hobby Lobby, Southern Nazarene University, Oklahoma State Fair, Oklahoma Heart Hospital, BC Clark, and LifeChurch.
The OKC Element Fusion TeamAndrea’s individual success can be directly related to her genuineness and transparency with customers and her real passion for the talented Element Fusion team. Andrea prefers to think of her consulting team as a team of "translators" because their primary role is to facilitate communication between clients and the professional services team at Element Fusion. She typically finds that clients know exactly what they want to accomplish using the web, but they often struggle with exactly know how to communicate that to a technical person. (This street goes two ways.) Andrea has built a team just enough business-savvy and just enough "geek" to get the job done!

Andrea attended Oklahoma Baptist University and Oklahoma State University before graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1986. She has worked in marketing for American Express, Xerox, Hart Hanks Communications, and Bob Moore Auto Group in addition to owning her own small business.

Andrea and her husband Kevin reside in Oklahoma City.
They are proud parents to four very gifted children:  Hannah, Gretchen, Dustin and Lorelei.  The Decker household has also sponsored various international exchange students from France and Japan.  A few of these have become "official" members of the family.  Mimi Taguchi recently married Anthony Conner and now lives in Guam.  Mimi gave birth to Andrea's first grandchild in May 2007.
